I thought this project was really fun and simple. How great would it be as a teacher appreciation gift or your favorite desk worker? There are a ton of uses. I just use it as decor myself!

Materials

  • Wood Block Calendar
  • White Permanent Vinyl
  • Transfer Tape
  • Acrylic Paint

Tools

  • Paint Brush
  • Plate or other place to put paint
  • Scissors

Instructions

  1. This DIY Block Calendar is a fun quick craft that is also incredibly useful. This is a fun group project to watch everyone use their own spin on it.  Start by painting each piece of your the calendar. I left the outside with natural wood then painted the cube blocks black and the month blocks green!
  2. explore air 2 cutting vinyl Allow each piece to dry. While you do this, cut out your vinyl! If you don't have a Cricut machine you could also try to paint on the numbers and words, or write them with a marker. But this cut file makes it look store bought!   3. Weed out the letters and numbers if you did vinyl. Then use your transfer tape to apply each piece.
