I am a huge fan of yoga. I’ve recently fallen in love with hot yoga. Hot yoga is awesome, but also leaves you and your mat pretty smelly and gross. I needed a way to clean my mat so came up with this yoga mat cleaner that will disinfect your mat and keep it smelling fresh.
Yoga mat cleaner recipe
- Tea tree essential oil
- Lemongrass essential oil
- 1 cup vinegar
- 3 cups water
(My oils are from this kit.)
Mix these ingredients together and spray on your mat. Use a clean towel to clean the area. Make sure to wash both sides because the yoga studio floor and your mat being rolled up can make the bottom pretty gross too.
I do not clean my mat often enough. But I’m hoping with this little mixture it will encourage me to do it more! Also, I am totally loving this spray bottle! You can get your own here.
