This DIY fall burlap banner is so simple but cute. You can make it as small or large as you’d like so it works in any space!
Can you believe, I have never used burlap? When I saw this sage green color I knew that needed to change. The Cricut makes banners so simple no matter what materials you want to use!
What you need for your burlap fall banner
- Burlap (You really won’t need much!)
- Iron on vinyl
- Jute string
- Hot Glue
Start by cutting out ‘FALL’ using your Cricut! I just used a very basic font because I like the look of that. (Make sure to ‘Mirror for Iron On!’)
While that is cutting, cut out what shape you’d like for your banner flags. You can really do any shape you’d like. I went for rounded bottoms on one and little rectangles on another one!
Then you will iron on your vinyl. You can see instructions on exactly how to do that here.
Next you can hot glue the burlap onto the jute or use little clothes pins and now you’re done!
I decided to make a smaller version so it would fit in this embroidery hoop wreath I made.
I love how this turned out and can’t wait to try one out for spring!
