If you’re throwing a class croquet birthday party, you’ll need this banner to complete the decor. It’s simple assembly and can be made within an hour.
I wrote all about this fun birthday party idea and wanted to break out this specific DIY so it didn’t get too wordy!
This banner was one of my first I’ve done with multiple layers. I usually just cut the shape and the letter out of the shape in one go.. I got real creative here and I LOVE how it turned out! I also discovered a new glue tape I’m obsessed with.

I’ve created this file for you so you literally just have open the file and get cutting! I have it all ready for you to cut 20 of each piece as well as the letters. It will even cut the holes for your string where you need them.
After each of your pieces are cut, I suggest sorting them by color.
Next I put each letter onto the tan colored cardstock. I didn’t use transfer tape, I just peeled them off because they were one piece. Except the ‘i’… but that was easy!
Next I used my permanent adhesive to put the tan pieces onto the white. All you have to do is roll it on in a strip and it will stick! The party ended up being windy and this totally held up. I was SO impressed.
After I placed those all on the white, I strung them onto the string and was all done! I didn’t have real string so I ended up using fishing line which worked fine but I would have preferred twine for sure!
