This is a unique take on a party hat I think you will really like. Perfect for a car theme, robot theme or anything else you want to use them for!

This is technically a headband with some embellishments on it. If I could do it again, I would use plastic probably. This paper ripped easily in the hands of my two year old. He ripped two before people even came and I finally just told him he had to wait till after the party to wear his!
What you need for your gear party hat
Begin by cutting out the file I created for you. It will include both the gears and the headband. I created it to fit on a toddler’s head so if you have bigger kids you may want to measure their heads and edit the cut file as necessary.

I found putting the glue on the gears was the safest way to get these glued on!
Put a strip of hot glue on one edge of your headband and connect it to the opposite side. I then put a little clothespin on the two edges so I didn’t have to hold them in place. I did this because I was making quite a few at the same time!
Once the hot glue was all dry I was all done. My son really loved these. Here he is wearing two at the same time! He subsequently ripped them both but still…
