Create your own piece of art with this tie dye DIY. Super simple and quick but it gives a beautiful result that looks expensive.
I saw some art at target for SIXTY DOLLARS and said “Hey I could do that!” This is my take on the tie dye art I saw there. Do you know how to dye yet? I have some ice dyeing here and my tie dyeing methods here.
Tie Dye DIY Art Materials
- Paper Cutter
- Foam Brush
- Tie dyed fabric (if you aren’t dyeing your own here is what I used!)
- Frame
- Modpodge
- Cardstock
- Use the inserts in the frame to measure a piece of cardstock and use your paper cutter to cut it to size.
- Modpodge your cut cardstock and place it where you want it on your tie dyed fabric.
- Use fabric scissors to cut around the cardstock. Cut closely so it will still fit in the frame.
- Place your cardstock in your frame. Now you’re done! So simple but so cute. Plus it will save you a ton of money. You can make them as large or small as you want!
