This little USA Map Outline is a perfect little home decor item either for 4th of July or just to leave up all year round.
I love making projects with chipboard and this little USA Map Outline is a great way to introduce yourself to chipboard and the Cricut Knife Blade. This was also my first time using stone spray paint and I LOVE it. It turned out so cool!
What you need for your USA Map Outline
- 2 Chipboards in 11″x11″
- Stone Spray Paint
- Gray Chalk Spray Paint
- Cricut Maker
- Knife Blade
Start by cutting your chipboard. Just so you know, don’t do what I did. I didn’t move the stars! Do you see on the below picture those little white things on the silver bar? You want those all moved to the side of the bar.
This is what your cuts will look like at the end of the cut.
Next you will spray paint your pieces. I did stone on the usa outline and the chalk paint on the outer circle.
I used my Tombow glue tape to attach the two pieces. You could also hot glue these together.
Then it’s all finished! I love this little USA map outline. it’s so subtle and not overly in your face like a lot of other patriotic home decor I’ve seen. BUT you could totally leave this up past the 4th of July right?!
I made another project with this same cut file if you want to use iron on to make this vinyl USA map outline sign.
Another take on a 4th of July sign is this Hamilton quote printable I made.
If you want another chipboard project I made this black cat sign. Mostly for Halloween. But you do you boo.
