This dainty Apple Watch band will save you money and you will have the perfect watch band for fancy occasions. See step by step how to make it yourself!
I feel like so many apple watch bands are so bulky. It makes sense. They’re geared toward people exercising and wearing them all day. I wanted something that would look a little better for church or dressier occasions.
This is a really simple DIY when you know what to use. You could also use beads if you prefer that look over the simple chains I used.
What you need for your DIY Apple Watch Band
- Gold chains (I used a few different kinds for a mixed metal effect.)
- Apple watch connectors
- Jewelry pliers
- jump rings
- Beading Elastic

Start by tying the elastic around the loops of the watch connectors. I didn’t want my watch to slip so I did this as short as I could but wanted to make sure it was comfortable.
Next I measured the length of my chains. I wanted them to hang a little bit for a bangle effect.
Then you will hook all of your chains to one jump ring. You could also do them separately but I thought I’d be annoyed if they were sliding all over.
Now you will connect the jump ring to the apple watch connector and you are done!
This was an elegant solution to my problem and hopefully it helps you too! I can’t be thinly one who wants my apple watch to look feminine sometimes!
