My Time on KSL Studio 5!

I had an amazing time on KSL doing a little dye project and I talk all about it from start to finish here!

Below you can see my day before, during and after the filming.

First I went to Tulie Bakery which has the most amazing croissants ever. It was the perfect way to start what could have been a stressful day, but I wasn’t nervous at all!

As I pulled into the studio and saw KSL in big letters on the building, my stomach dropped and I realized I was going to be on television. I parked in the wrong parking lot then walked into three wrong doors before I found where I was supposed to go… so that was fun.

Everyone in the building was so kind and generous. They all acted like I was a regular just there to chit chat! The floor director was super nice and we chatted pretty much the whole time as we waited for Shara to come.

Shara came and was so light hearted and fun. We started filming and I was first up which was probably best. That way I didn’t have time to get myself riled up again.

A lot of people asked if it was live! They ‘shot it live’ which means they filmed it as if it was live then aired it the next day. So what you will watch below is 100% unedited but they didn’t air it live because that would be putting way too much trust in someone like me. Let’s be honest.

When my segment was over we went to a commercial break and I just had a few minutes to clean up and clean the table so the next person could set up. I watched a few minutes of the next segment then left to go home.

I felt right at home there and hope I’ll get the opportunity to go back!
