I’m so stoked to share another cat DIY. It’s been too long! I have two darling cats who are like family members to us. That means they deserve full DIY treatment just like the rest of us, right? I had the idea for these cat bowls when I made this spoon rest holder. (Look familiar?) Whether your cat prefers dry or wet food, they all need a bowl!

What You Need for Your Clay Cat Bowls

• 8 oz clay in one color (I used white)
• 2 oz clay in another (I used green)
• Oven proof bowls
• Cookie sheet

For one bowl, you will break your clay into two fistfull sized logs. I did this just so it was easier to hand. Work the clay in your hands so it’s clumping together well and not crumbly.

Next you will dot the color you’d like swirled through on the log shape.

Twist your log shape and then fold it in half. Continue doing this until you get a swirl you like.

Press your clay flat. If you would like your bowl to have clean edges, use a scalpel to trim off the sides. I really like the artistic look of the asymmetry!

Drape your flat shape over your oven proof bowl and then put it in your oven at 275 for 15 minutes!

Once cooled, you are all ready to get feeding your kitty!
