Make some sugar scrub using this recipe for someone you love and use this darling cut file to make it a gift they’ll remember forever!
This is part of a little project I put together with a bunch of ideas for random acts of kindness. I used a recipe I’ve used before, tried and true. Then I added a vinyl to the jar to make it a little more custom and gift-able!
The jar I put this in is just a normal boring mason jar. I spray painted the lid matte black to make it little more fancy looking.
Sugar Scrub Recipe
- 1 1/3 cup White Sugar
- 1/2 cup Coconut Oil
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 5-8 drops of your favorite essential oil (I mixed eucalyptus and peppermint)
Mix all ingredients together and you are all done! I suggest doing sugar first, then the oil, then honey, then the oils.
Simply mix all of these ingredients together. That’s it! This will expire approximately 3 months after you’ve created it.
Next you will pull out your Cricut Explore Air 2 to make the sticker!
Materials for the Sugar Scrub Sticker
Open up the cut file and load your patterned vinyl onto the standard grip mat. You’ll want it with the pattern side up.
Weed the vinyl after it is cut and use transfer tape to place the sticker on the jar.
This jar was just a standard mason jar and I spray-painted the lid matte black for a more polished look! I love the way the patterned vinyl ended up looking on the jar. I’m not usually a floral person, but this is the most beautiful floral pattern so I can get behind it.
This specific sugar scrub was made to be gifted for Random Acts of Kindness Day! I have a ton of different ideas if you’re in the market for spreading some love through random acts of kindness.
Equal parts eucalyptus/ peppermint?
