You are going to want to make an extra pan of these bacon wrapped weenies just for yourself. They are that good! Just three simple ingredients.
It’s official, I am sharing my first recipe. If I’m sharing a recipe that means one of two things: I’ve lost my mind, or it’s so simple even I bother to make it! This one is simple. And I promise you are going to love it.
For Leo’s 1st birthday my husband’s only request was that we eat bacon wrapped smokies. I decided I’d be happy to throw that together as ‘grubs’ and as I was making it I thought, ‘Hey I am sure some other people would love to hear about this recipe too!’

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Wrap your 9×13 pan in aluminium foil.
Use a knife or kitchen sheers to cut your bacon into thirds.
Take the smokies and wrap them in the bacon. Use the skewer to hold the bacon in place.
Sprinkle your 1/2 cup of brown sugar over the finished smokies.
Place this in the oven for 40-45 minutes or until bacon is crisp.
That is it! It is so delicious and I didn’t make nearly enough. I could have made two full pans for our 15 guests!
What do you think? Should I share more recipes? Because I do enjoy food, but I’m in the craft room more than the kitchen! Get this free ‘Grubs’ printable and several other ideas for a jungle themed birthday party here!
