This recipe was inspired by some nacho dorito deviled eggs that Bernice from Dish in the Kitchen created. She serves her egg half on a dorito which I think is a super fun idea too!

What goes with Deviled Eggs

Deviled eggs are a perfect little appetizer because they go well with pretty much everything including smokies (I have the best bacon-wrapped smokie recipe), pasta salad, olives, or a vegetable tray.

How to Serve Deviled Eggs at a Party

Deviled eggs are slippery little guys so you’ll want a flat dish like a serving platter. I used a clear, flat serving dish.

How Long to Boil Eggs for Deviled Eggs

My favorite way to hard-boil eggs is in the instant pot. Place the eggs in the instant pot with 1 cup of water on a rack. Pressure cook for 5 minutes then release the steam 1-5 minutes after the timer goes off depending on how hard I want the yolks. These eggs pictured here sat for 5 minutes before I released the pressure, but I usually prefer them a bit softer!

If you prefer boiling the eggs, place eggs in a medium pot and cover with cold water by 1 inch. Bring to a boil, then cover the pot and turn off the heat. Let the eggs cook, covered, for 9 to 12 minutes, depending on your desired done-ness.
