These little felt balls have sat on my craft table for too long. My friend asked to make some earrings and I thought these would be perfect! Felt ball earrings are completely customizable and these turned out too cute.

Thread your needle with your thread. I tried embroidery floss and gave up trying to thread the needle but if you have a thicker needle, you could use embroidery floss too!

Stick the needle straight through the center of the ball. I doubled up the thread to make it stronger.

Now you will cut the thread and tie a knot on the opposite end of the needle under the ball.

Then you will tie the top of the string to the hook on the fishhook earrings. This was a little tricky because it is so small. I would suggest leaving lots of thread to work with. I also double knotted this side so it wouldn’t come off the hook.

Cut your thread ends and you are done! This honestly took me like 30 seconds. The longest part was trying to tie the tiny knots.

I have loved making my own earrings lately because my ears are extremely sensitive to fake metal so I can use real gold hooks. Everything that looks this cute is always nickel or some other metal so this is my compromise!
