This classic IKEA high chair looks so high end with this simple little makeover. It is still just as practical but now it will look a little more fancy.
I’ve never purchased a high chair so I take my friends recommendations seriously. Everyone seemed to agree the ANTILOP high chair from IKEA is great because it’s inexpensive and so easy to clean. I saw it and thought “I can make that match my kitchen so easily!”
I made over my bar stools in the same way so I love that this high chair looks like it goes perfectly with my kitchen.
What I used to makeover my IKEA High Chair

I started by taping off the parts of the legs I didn’t want gold. There were little white feet that I wanted to stay that way!
I gave the legs a quick coat of spray paint and let them dry. Chair legs can be kind of hard to get an even coat when theyre laying down so you may need to try a couple of times to fully cover the gray.
Assemble your high chair and you are all finished!
We have loved this high chair so far. Where could you find a gold and white high chair for under $20?! I love IKEA!
