How to Make Custom Stickers with Vinyl

Making custom stickers is really simple with printable vinyl and I’ll walk you through each step so you can do it all at home for yourself.

I recently threw a little party for my husband and wanted something custom to the party in each of the little goodie bags. Stickers were the perfect option. I even used some I had left over to put on the cups to make them look like custom cups!

First thing you will want to do is create your sticker you’d like to print. When you print and cut on this printable vinyl your cutting area is not the full sheet of paper. Keep that in mind when you design your project in Design Space. If you are throwing this fun party (or just want to make some fun gamer stickers) you can use this cut file right here! Just download this font file first.

Check out this video to see exactly how I did that.

Follow the instructions when you click print. You will first print the file with your inkjet printer then put it on your standard grip mat and cut them out.

After it is printed you will put .it on a standard grip mat and hit ‘cut’ in Design Space. It will cut it out based on the black border around the outside for a perfect cut no matter what happened in the printer.

You will then weed out the external space.

That’s it! Now you have your custom printed stickers. They make fun little gifts or you can stick them on your computer or water bottles!
