Hot dog! Hosting a party? Make it fun with this Hot Diggity Dog bar. I’ve got a couple of DIY aspects or just use them and adapt!
I love throwing parties so make sure you check out my Office Party. If you’re looking for more kid’s party ideas like this one check out my Blippi party!
This way of serving food to your guests is sure to be a hit. Even if you’re not having a Mickey, Minnie, or even Disney-themed party, a Hot Diggity Dog bar is sure to be a hit.
If you’re looking for inexpensive party supplies for your Disney party and have two weeks or less (sometimes stuff comes quicker but just so you make sure!) I cannot recommend Temu highly enough. If you search ‘Cartoon Mouse’ you may find more because of copyright issues. You’ll find super inexpensive Mickey ears and all sorts of other themed things. There are also tons of balloons and other party supplies. This code will get you 30% off your first order.
If you’re not a crafter, don’t feel overwhelmed but the project is included here. Look through the pictures for some fun ideas and make them your own! Don’t forget to download the free ‘Hot Diggity Dog Bar’ printable below. Also included are my other free printable ideas.
This was part of a party I threw together with lots of DIY Minnie Mouse Party Supplies.
This project is for users who are pretty familiar with Design Space. I have a tutorial below on how to upload layered images. The image I used is also included in the free printables above.

- White Permanent Vinyl
Tools
- Cricut
- Xyron (Optional)
- Foam brush (if using modpodge)

Instructions
- Upload the free image provided in the post and upload each image as its own layer. If you don’t know how to do this, I have a video also linked in the post.
- Use your Cricut to cut each layer of the image
- Layer each piece of your cardstock. The bottom to the top should be light brown, dark brown, yellow.
- Assemble the hot dog using mod podge or your Xyron.
- Use your transfer tape to transfer the words onto the hot dog.
What do you think? I had a lot of fun putting these together.
You can use any Cricut machine for this project. I would suggest the Explore Air 2 or Maker because the bigger mat will be easier to use.
You may notice that our hot dogs were in an instant pot. Did you know you can cook them in an instant pot? Do that. Because it was so slick and even made them easier to serve.
Don’t forget to pin this idea!
