Rose Apothecary Body Milk

Make your own Rose Apothecary Body Milk. I have a tutorial for the jars AND a recipe for the “body milk”. Some would call it lotion.

I HAD to have party favors for my Schitt’s Creek party so this was created for that. I gave them to guests with a set of David Rose sunglasses and Rosebud Motel coasters. Did I throw this party for myself? Yes I did.

First thing you are going to do to make your Body Milk is create the stickers and customize some little jars.

The file you will print is here: Rose Apothecary Body Milk File

What You Need for Your Body Milk Jar Stickers

  • Sticker Paper
  • Standard Grip Mat
  • Small Mason Jars (these are formatted for any standard sized mason jar)
  • Cricut Maker
  • Printer
  • Cut File

First thing you’ll do is open up the cut file and get it printed off. You’ll notice the border around the print. This is for your Maker to identify the file and know where to cut using the perforation blade and regular blade. Your Maker will cut this portion off.

Place your stickers on the jar lids.

Fill your jars with the recipe below!

Another option? Just put your favorite liquidy lotion in there. (Our family fave is Aveeno we buy the huge size at Costco.)

Body Milk Recipe

  • 1 Cup shae butter
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • Essential oils (I used rose and lavendar)
  1. Combine all ingredients in a stand mixer
  2. Mix until the consistency you’d like. If you’d like it thicker, add more shea butter, if you’d like it more liquid, use more coconut oil.
  3. Put in your cute jars using the sticker created in this post!
