This is a different take on your standard Superbowl Party, throw your friends a Superb Owl Party with these fun ideas!
Some of us just watch the Super Bowl as an excuse to eat delicious appetizers. If you’re one of those people, this party is for you.
This themed party is based on the funny What We Do In the Shadows Episode where they are invited to a Super Bowl party and misread the invitation thinking it’s a ‘Superb Owl’ party. It’s hilarious so of course we’ve gotta throw one ourselves!

Superb Owl Party Ideas
There are a lot of fun ways to tie this theme together. I’ve got just a few ideas for you here, but if you think of any more I’d love to see what you’ve put together!
Owl Veggie Tray
We created this owl veggie tray using carrot chips, orange bell peppers, cucumbers, and grape tomatoes. You can utilize anything else you may have lying around! What makes this cute tray is the eyes. There are two small serving bowls (ramekins) of ranch and then a grape tomato in the center. It turned out so cute!
Bacon Wrapped Smokies in Brown Sugar
We don’t do appetizers around my house without bacon-wrapped smokies. This is my go-to recipe for pretty much every event. You’re going to love these!
Owl Rolo Pretzel Bites
Everyone has had a rolo pretzel bite by now, right? Well, I created these to look like little owls. Check out the full post here: Rolo Pretzel Bites.
Cool Ranch Dorito Deviled Eggs
I made this delicious and fun take on deviled eggs. I present to you, Cool Ranch Deviled Eggs. They’re salty and tangy just like your favorite Dorito flavor.
Jalepeno Pepper Cheese Ball
We renamed this jalapeno bacon cheese ball a “jalapeno popper” cheeseball in honor of the classic Super Bowl appetizer. Even if you don’t like jalapenos or bacon, this thing is delicious. This is actually the staple cheeseball we use for Thanksgiving appetizers too.
Buffalo Chicken Meatballs
We found this delicious recipe for buffalo chicken meatballs and dressed them up a bit with these cocktail skewers! They were fancy but most importantly, they were delicious.
Pomegranate Ale Idea
This drink is super simple. All I used was pomegranate juice and ginger ale topped with a blueberry and sprig of rosemary. We don’t drink alcohol so I don’t know much about dirty cocktails but here’s a list of similar yummy-looking pomegranate cocktail recipes!
We had so much fun at this party. We felt fancy and got to eat some delicious food. We also put together an owl puzzle while we watched the game! I got it from Temu for $5 it was awesome. (I have a code for 30% off here)
How many people go to super bowl parties just for the food? [raises hand]
Such cute ideas! And a good mix of salty and sweet. Thanks.
