Use these little kindness cards to spread kindness on February 17th or any day you want to celebrate random acts of kindness!
My first thought for Random Acts of Kindness day was a way to make it truly random. I came up with these little cards that could really be left for any random stranger anywhere. I plan to take these to a parking lot and leave them on windshields on the 17th!
Materials Used for Random Acts of Kindness Cards
- Patterned Paper They don’t have the paper I used anymore but this marble is GORGEOUS.
- Black Vinyl
- White Vinyl
- Standard Grip Mat
- Explore Air 2
- Transfer Tape
- Cut File
Open up your cut file and follow the prompts. You’ll notice I have the circles two different colors. This is so that I could cut them with two different patterns. If you prefer to have everything the same color, you can change the colors by clicking ‘Customize’ when you open the project.
Take care as you cut to make sure that you are cutting the words with vinyl and the circles with your patterned paper!
Weed your vinyl using a weeding tool and then grab your transfer tape. I used one piece of transfer tape for all 5 cards. That’s a little trick I’ve learned from doing this a few times. It gets less sticky which makes it easier to remove!
After you’ve placed all of your vinyl on your circles you are all finished. These are really simple but I am excited to share them to spread some love. A simple message can mean a lot to someone having a bad day, week, month or even year! You know never know who needs some encouragement.
This post is part of my Random Acts of Kindness Day series. Basically this is just the tip of the iceberg! I have so many ideas to spread kindness whether you’re a DIYer or not.
