The light fixtures at the Parade of Homes this year were so fun! Check out a little round up of some of my favorites light fixtures from the home show.
Lighting in a house can really make or break the look of the design. The light fixture can also add a fun style element. I loved looking through these photos because it was almost like I could tell the style of the home just from the light fixture.
I love the simple look of these and I thought it was and interesting placement for light fixtures. Who places pendants in a bathroom over a vanity space? It’s cool! Here is a similar option.
This is a really cool blend between traditional and modern. It looks like a candelabra but the circle around it makes it much more modern.
This beaded chandelier was my favorite fixture of the parade. I have loved beaded fixtures. I so badly want one somewhere in my house! Think I could DIY one?
This gave me a kind of cabin feel. Putting lighting in such a huge space would be really hard but I think this is a nice way of doing it without making it the focal point.
I’m not sure if I would ever pick this one for my house, but isn’t this cool? It is almost an art piece in the bathroom.
It’s rare there is a sconce that catches my eye but I quite like this one. The gold fixtures are definitely in right now. I’m hoping they don’t turn into the brassy gold from the 90s and make it obvious what decade these homes are from! There are lots of sconces very similar to this one here!
These pendants were in my favorite home of the show. Every detail was perfect if we are being honest. These were big pendants for a small kitchen but it really worked. I couldn’t find one just like this but I found a gold one similar and one that’s similar but bronze!
Hopefully this inspired you in your light fixture searches. I know it inspired me to update a few things in my house. Light fixture updates are really simple and pretty dang cost effective. It’s an easy way to make a room feel ‘remodeled’ in a day!
